Carly’s equestrian journey began on the AA Hunter/Jumper circuit, where she competed as a Junior across the East Coast. At 18, she moved to Ocala, Florida and fell completely in love with Thoroughbreds.

For the past 11  years, Carly has dedicated herself to the retraining and rehoming of OTTBs, driven by a deep passion for giving these incredible athletes the second chances they deserve. With patience, empathy, and unwavering belief in every horse she works with, Carly helps OTTBs rediscover their confidence and purpose beyond the track.

By day, Carly works full-time as a Claims Representative for Equine Insurance, combining her professional life with her equine passion. In her free time between her work and commitment to Run for the Ribbons she channels her energy into CrossFit, keeping her mind and body as strong as the horses she loves.

At RFTR, Carly is known for climbing aboard the quirkiest OTTBs in the barn and patiently guiding them into their next chapter. Her heart belongs to Thoroughbreds, and her greatest joy is watching them thrive in the right home.

For Carly, OTTBs aren’t just horses, they’re partners, healers, and heroes. And she’s honored to help them find the futures they deserve.
