Our beloved Pasture Pros are retired racehorses who have found lifelong sanctuary at Cedar Lock Farm. Each of these horses remains with us for the duration of their lives due to age, injury, or temperament — and we’ve created a heartfelt, interactive way for you to be part of their journey.

Introducing HorseShare — a unique program that invites you to help support a retired racehorse while forming a lasting connection through a symbolic, personalized bracelet. Each handcrafted bracelet is inspired by one of our Pasture Pros, reflecting their personality and story. Become a HorseShare partner for just $30! Your HorseShare partnership includes:

• A custom HorseShare bracelet representing your chosen Pasture Pro

What is the Barn Pass?

Your Barn Pass brings the HorseShare experience to life! For an additional $25 (with the purchase of one or more bracelets), you’ll be able to visit Cedar Lock Farm for a hands-on visit with your Pasture Pro.

Barn Pass includes:

• One farm visit, valid for 12 months from purchase (annual renewal available)
• A hands-on grooming experience with your Pasture Pro
• The option to bring one guest (signed waiver required)

Our Respected Teachers

Our Pasture Pros are more than retired athletes — they’re wise, compassionate souls with so much still to give. Each one carries a powerful story and a calming presence that touches everyone they meet.

In the future, some of them will step into new roles as co-teachers in our Run For The Ribbons Equine Interactive Education Program (EIEP) Program — a hands-on initiative designed to foster growth, confidence, and connection through horse-human partnerships.

Barn Pass memberships are non-transferable. If your chosen Pasture Pro crosses the rainbow bridge, you’ll be invited to a special memorial gathering at the farm to honor their life and legacy. Once you’re part of the herd, you’re family.
