Lindsey is a Level 2 Centered Riding Instructor, founder of Harmony Horsemanship, horse trainer for TV and film, and is nicknamed “Canada’s Horse Whisperer” by the Toronto Star. She is also a RN with a B.A in Health Sciences and Nursing, specializing in mental health. Well known for her participation in the RRP’s Makeover, her bridleless riding, trick, and liberty training has gained a lot of attention and success. Using a unique approach that starts with no tools (no whip, round pen, or neck rope), she helps people to really understand how body language affects horses. Lindsey has competed bridleless in extreme Cowboy Racing, jumpers, trail and working equitation.

Eventing Judge – Dorothy Crowell

We’re glad. to be welcoming back our Eventing Judge for this year’s Expo, Dorothy Crowell! Her extensive career boasts many achievements, such as:

  • Selected for two Olympic Teams
  • World Championship Silver Medalist
  • Won first US 5* Championships at Rolex
  • Top 10 finishes at Badminton, Burghley, and Pau.

All of these accomplishments were achieved riding OTTBS, so Dorothy is a perfect fit for our event. She has also coached multiple Gold, Silver, & Bronze medalists both Teams and Individuals at the Junior Olympics(NAYCs), coached both ’19 RRP Makeover Champions in Dressage and Eventing and has also served as a judge for the event.

Dorothy is also President of the Secretariat Center Board and has created the We Are Here Initiative which assisted Thoroughbreds throughout the Covid-19 crisis. Along with her 20+years of experience as a Classic 3Day clinician, she organized the first Educational 3Day, using the Classic 3-day as a tool to encourage equine education among amateur and young professional horse people.

Outside of equestrian activities, Dorothy owns and is the Lead Designer of Medalist Designs, a farm, barn, home design, and consulting agency.

She is also the designer and developer of Hardwood Hollow, an 88 acre, 8 farm equestrian community in Reddick, FL. Additionally, she designed the farm layout, and barn/apartment/ home design in Micanopy, Morriston, and Ocala, as well as KY, OH, IN, and IL.

Show Juumpers & Show Hunter – Whitney Mulqueen

Introducing this year’s Hunter & Jumper judge for the Expo, Whitney Mulqueen! Whitney is a licensed double-carded Horse Show Judge for USEF and NSBA in Hunters and Jump Seat Equitation. Whitney competed as a junior through to Medal Maclay and USET Divisions in NY, NJ, MA, and CT. She has over 35 years of combined expertise professionally in riding, teaching, judging, and showing.

Whitney has made a career in the horse world through judging, teaching and as a clinician. The keen-eye from judging, crosses over when coaching her riding students to insure that they are riding technically correct. Whitney’s teaching style is Classical Horsemanship that encompasses Hunt Seat Equitation & Basic Dressage. As a junior and adult Whitney was blessed to ride with many accomplished trainers in the NE, NW and SE such as the late Judy Richter, Carol Molony, Jerry Corolla, Dina Johnson (protege of Carol Lavell), Bryn C.A. Loizeaux (rode with Bernie Traurig), John Meagher, the late Karen Meagher (protege of Marion Hulick) and many other great horsemen and horsewomen.

In 2021 Whitney relocated from Saratoga, NY moved her business as owner/trainer at Celtic Crest Farm, to Ocala, Florida. Along with judging Open, 4-H and USEF rated horse shows for over 25 years – Whitney has also dedicated her time to charitable organizations in her communities. Whitney will be planning a fundraiser called, “Psychic Derby Faire” for “Run for the Ribbons” on April 20th, 2024 to be held at the Horse & Hound Restaurant in Ocala (Watch for Event Page Coming soon on facebook)There is a New Farm and tack shop in the future for Whitney that would cater to ponies, kids, adults and racing.

Introducing our Dressage judge for the Expo this year, Margaret Edwards-Jones!

Margaret is a Canadian dressage rider and trainer based in Florida.

She comes from a family of riders with a diverse background in jumpers, eventing, and dressage. Certified as an Equine Canada Coach in 1984, she has been teaching since the age of 16.

Through the years she trained and worked with world class and Olympic riders, trainers, and judges such as:

She has multiple Dressage Canada Medals of accomplishment in dressage and also competed up to Open level in Jumpers. Her other interests, relating to training, is BIOMECHANICS of the horse and how each horse can be developed to the best of their ability and how the rider can benefit the ability of the horse’s movement. She personalized training for riders of Jumpers with many successes. We are happy to welcome her to the Expo this year!
